Working with artists is always a privilege. Observing and documenting moments of artistic creation as their methods of expression form into being is an inspiration to photograph.
Gary and Thomas Thrussell create beautifully handcrafted metal sculptures from their Bodmin workshop. Their work can be found on display at the Eden Project, around the country and further afield in Europe. Carefully lit portraits, documentary photographs and images of them working together in tandem on various metalwork projects complement both the work and their father and son relationship, revealing more than just photographs of the finished metal sculpture artwork ever could.
