In a beautiful old Devon barn, artist Andrew Lacey uses blow-torches and chemicals on steel sheets, the same way a painter uses brushes and canvas.
Contemplative portrait photography sits in harmony alongside candid documentary images making for a wealth of meaningful visuals. Abstract paintings, intricate bronze castings and plaster sculptures sit amongst the gently lit wooden beams and cool stone walls as the Archaeometallurgist moves amongst them, considering his next inspiration.
